Summer in Vermont! The gardens are carefully tended by Sarah. Veggies and flowers galore! The frogs are singing in the pond every evening. Melvin milks the goats every morning and every evening. Jennifer collects chicken & duck eggs and feeds the baby goats.
Ed and Irene oversee it all (with the help of Ernie, Muriel and Charlie, of course) and are the perfect hosts to our guests. They, with Sarah, the chickens, pigs and goats, produce the most delicious and satisfying breakfasts every morning.
Lots going on around here. https://www.facebook.com/coldmoonfarm?ref=hl
The grounds are bursting with vivid colors as only the earth can produce after a long winter's sleep. Our eyes drink in this beauty which gives us a sense of peace and that everything is as it should be! We take a deep breath in and exhale and our entire being relaxes.
Cold Moon Farm breakfast of homemade granola, fresh baked breads, eggs from our chickens and ducks, etc., takes on the look of Spring. The egg yolks are more orange because our chickens can now forage the land, our bees are buzzing around happily producing delicious honey and the greenhouse is producing greens, beets, scallions, lettuces, snowpeas, kale & chard which are added to our breakfast dishes. It's causes our creative juices to run. Hmm...what's for breakfast?
We are so excited to have been named to this prestigious list! Click here to read the entire article.
