.....on a little child's sleigh, me in the front and Sarah riding shotgun..all the way we go slip sliding away, way, way down the driveway...oh, what fun we had yesterday on that cold, brilliantly sunny day!
We have so much snow here at Cold Moon Farm B & B...another 14 inches today. We are getting to the point where there is no place to pile it. We are also hoping the goats don't realize they can just hop on the snowbank outside their barn and just walk out of their fenced area. We are trying to keep it a secret from them. Melvin had to add another line of electric fencing because the pigs, being as smart as they are, realized they could just "hop" over the wire and take a walk.
But in spite of the cold, all this snow has created a magical atmosphere, where this soon to be 71 year old feels inspired by her friend Jennifer to go out sledding and this makes me feel like a kid again.
We have plenty of sleds here at the farm for those guests so inspired to make the downhill journey!
Should I be dreaming of warmer days? Maybe not just yet....
